CreditXpert review
CreditXpert is a Income & Asset Verification product. MortgageTechReview scores CreditXpert 4.5 out of 5.0, ranking CreditXpert #4 of the 35 products tracked in Income & Asset Verification Software, as of August 11, 2026. Scores on MortgageTechReview are weighted across five axes and are never paid for or influenced by a vendor relationship.
CreditXpert reads a pulled credit report and produces a plan for raising the borrower's score. Plans are editable at tradeline level through a What-If simulator. It arrives through your existing credit agency, and the published list passes twenty names, including Equifax and Factual Data. Arithmetic decides it: at 28 dollars a plan, one saved file pays for a mountain of plans. It does exactly one thing. The headline claim, seven in ten borrowers gaining 20-plus points in 30 days, is the company grading its own data.

Where it wins
- Publishes a 28 dollar per-plan entry price covering up to 20 seats
- Integrated with twenty-plus credit agencies, including Equifax, Xactus360, Factual Data and Informative Research
- Plans edit at tradeline level in the What-If simulator, not fixed recommendations
- Arrives through your existing credit agency, so no new data contract needed
Where it falls short
- Narrow by design: raises scores and touches nothing else in the workflow
- Mid-size and enterprise pricing is custom; the 28 dollar figure covers small shops only
- The 20 point and 75,000 daily pull figures are company-published, not audited
- Availability and price depend on your credit reporting agency relationship
Why it scores 4.5

Production impact
25% of scoreThis is the rare verification-adjacent tool whose output is a loan that would not otherwise close, or one that closes at a better price with less fallout risk. Twenty points can carry a borrower across a pricing tier, trim or remove mortgage insurance, or rescue a decline outright. Plans edit at tradeline level, so a loan officer works the file in front of them. Two limits. The 20 point figure is company-published, not audited. And the effect is bounded by how many files sit close enough for points to matter.
Functionality and depth
20% of scoreWithin its lane the build is excellent. A predictive engine produces recommended actions, and the What-If simulator lets a loan officer adjust the plan at individual tradeline level, so nothing arrives as a black-box output nobody can act on. A commercial variant and a free directory tool for real estate agents extend the line. It raises scores and touches nothing else in the workflow. That is deliberate, and it does the one job about as well as it can be done.
Integrations and ecosystem
20% of scoreThe distribution model is the clever part: the tool arrives with the credit report instead of needing its own connection, so there is no new data contract to sign. The integrated agency list is published, specific and past twenty names, including Equifax, Xactus360, Factual Data, Certified Credit, Birchwood, Advantage Credit, Informative Research and Credit Technologies, with more reachable through MeridianLink, SharperLending and CreditInterlink. The dependency cuts both ways: if your agency is not listed, you change agencies.
Adoption and support
10% of scoreNothing else in this category is this easy to buy. There is a published price, 28 dollars a plan covering up to 20 seats, so there is no procurement cycle to survive, and training material comes included at the entry tier. The tool shows up beside the credit report the loan officer is already reading. That is why adoption spreads originator by originator instead of by mandate. Higher tiers add a client success manager and an onboarding coordinator.
Return on spend
25% of scoreThe arithmetic defends itself. A plan costs 28 dollars at the entry tier and a closed loan is worth orders of magnitude more, so even a low conversion rate on marginal files clears the cost comfortably. One saved file pays for a mountain of plans. Mid-size and enterprise pricing is custom, so a large lender negotiates without a published anchor and should not assume the per-plan economics a broker sees.
On price. CreditXpert publishes real numbers, which almost nobody in this batch does. Quick Start is 28 dollars per plan with up to 20 seats. Mid-size and enterprise both say custom, adding unlimited seats, real-time insights, a dedicated success manager and analytics reviews. Access is billed through your credit reporting agency in most cases. The agency’s markup is a line item to ask about directly.
