Model Match review
Model Match is a Income & Asset Verification product. MortgageTechReview scores Model Match 4.8 out of 5.0, ranking Model Match #1 of the 35 products tracked in Income & Asset Verification Software, as of August 11, 2026. Scores on MortgageTechReview are weighted across five axes and are never paid for or influenced by a vendor relationship.
Model Match grew out of the recruiting agency Hammerhouse, and it shows. This is a recruiter's tool first and a market data product second. Production data back to 2017 sits beside pipelines, contact lists, outbound calling, AI call notes and email outreach. It fits branch managers and in-house recruiters who cannot justify an enterprise data contract. Published month-to-month rates from $49 remove most of the risk of trying it. The limit is depth: coverage and analytics run thinner than the biggest datasets, and integration stops at a top-tier API.
How Model Match compares to the field
Ranked first in Verification & DataModel Match scores highest of the 33 products scored in Verification & Data, so every other page in this category is compared against it rather than the other way round. The ranked table shows the full field.
Where it wins
- Rates published outright, from $49 to $199 monthly, with trial and no annual contract
- Search plus built-in outreach, calling, notes and email, so recruiters skip the spreadsheet
- Founded by working mortgage recruiters, so it matches how recruiting actually runs
- Premium includes unlimited profile, list, company and office exports, which rivals meter hard
Where it falls short
- Transaction history starts in 2017, shorter than the deepest rival datasets
- No CRM or LOS integration named, no applicant tracking either; API sits top-tier
- The 25,000-professional user figure and client logos are self-reported, without third-party confirmation
- Enterprise pricing is custom, so the low-tier transparency stops at company-wide scale
Why it scores 4.8

Production impact
25% of scoreRecruiting is where data spend pays back hardest, and Model Match collapses the cycle into one sitting. A recruiter searches production history, builds the list and makes the first call without leaving the seat. Pipelines, calling, call notes and email live in the same place, so nothing waits on a spreadsheet handoff. Borrower Insights and refinance spotting point the same data at originators. Volume moves through hires and partnerships.
Functionality and depth
20% of scoreNationwide loan officer and agent search, property transaction history, NMLS leaderboards, market reports and industry movement tracking all ship. The $99 tier adds pipelines, outbound calling, call notes and email on top. Sourcing data and the outreach that acts on it in one seat is what most rivals make a recruiter assemble from two products. History starts in 2017, short for long-horizon trend work and fine for judging who is producing now.
Integrations and ecosystem
20% of scoreAPI access is published as part of a plan rather than quoted as an enterprise extra, and the same plans list Claude and ChatGPT connections. Premium adds unlimited profile, list, company and office exports, where rivals meter hard, so a recruiter gets data out without a project and without a negotiation. The limit is named systems: no LOS connection and no stated applicant tracking tie, so a lender with a formal recruiting stack builds against the API.
Adoption and support
10% of scoreAn individual starts using this without anyone’s approval. A 14-day trial, month-to-month billing and a $49 entry point see to that. There is no procurement cycle to survive and no annual contract to escape. Support is a help desk with email and group training sessions rather than a named account manager, which fits the price and the buyer. Easiest product here to start, and the easiest to stop.
Return on spend
25% of scoreOne successful hire covers years of subscription. Rates are published outright, from $49 to $199 monthly, with a trial and no annual contract, and very few mortgage data products will print a number at all. The dataset is not the deepest available and does not need to be at that price. On money returned per dollar spent, this is hard to beat in the category. Enterprise pricing goes custom.
On price. Published and unusually clear. Standard runs $49 per month, the mid tier $99, Premium $199, and enterprise is custom. All the listed tiers are month-to-month with a 14-day trial. Exports and API sit on Premium, so confirm which tier your workflow needs before assuming the entry price applies.
