Floify wins 3 of 5 axes. Same rubric, same weights, no sponsorships.
What each one is built to do
Both sit in front of your origination system and collect the application. That is where the similarity ends.
Floify is one product sold to one buyer. The originator, the broker shop, the small lender. Its Broker Edition goes further and stands in for an origination system. Dual automated underwriting, a pricing engine and MCR reporting are built in.
BeSmartee is a suite. Bright POS is one of four products. Beside it sit a wholesale front end called Beam TPO and a commercial credit tool called FlashSpread.
So the question is not which portal is better. It is whether you are buying a tool or a platform.
Ownership, which matters more here than usual
Floify belongs to Porch Group, a listed company. That is useful, because you can read the accounts.
What the accounts say is worth knowing. Software and Data revenue fell to $20.8 million in the second quarter of 2026, from $22.0 million a year earlier. Floify is not named in that filing, nor in the first quarter release.
BeSmartee is private and independent, founded in 2007 by Tim and Veronica Nguyen. No parent, no disclosed funding, no employee count.
Neither position is safer than the other. They fail in different ways.
Uptime, where the evidence is uncomfortable on both sides
Floify publishes a status page. A third-party monitor has logged more than 573 outages against it since March 2022.
The recent ones are specific. On 13 August 2026 realtors and partners could not generate pre-approval letters for three hours. There were further incidents on 6 and 30 July.
BeSmartee publishes no status page. No monitor tracks it. Its uptime record cannot be checked from outside by anyone.
Read that carefully. Floify looks worse because it publishes. BeSmartee looks clean because nothing is visible.
Integrations, and one page that undercuts its own claim
Both name Encompass, which is the integration that settles most shortlists.
Floify names ByteSoftware, MeridianLink, Encompass, Vesta and LendingPad. It adds Lender Price and Optimal Blue for pricing. The broker edition brings UWM and dual automated underwriting.
BeSmartee names ICE, Black Knight, MeridianLink, Mortgage Builder and Byte. It added Vesta for the wholesale product in May 2026.
One caution. The Bright POS page names no origination system at all, while integration is its headline claim. Ask for the list in writing.
What the review record shows
Floify carries 57 reviews on G2 at 4.8 and 74 on Capterra at 4.8. That is enough volume to read patterns in.
BeSmartee carries two reviews on G2 and no profile on Capterra or TrustRadius. Two reviews cannot carry a judgement about a platform.
BeSmartee names customers on its own homepage instead, including UWM and Network Funding. Those are vendor stated and worth checking directly.
Its newsroom is quiet too. The most recent post is May 2026 and the one before it is September 2025.
Price, where only one number exists
Neither vendor publishes a rate card.
Floify has one public figure, $79 per user per month. It sits on Capterra rather than on Floify’s own site. A free trial is offered.
BeSmartee publishes nothing. Its stated model ties the subscription to closed loan volume. Beat the forecast and you gain. Miss it and you are protected. Agreeing that forecast is the negotiation.
The wholesale question, which settles more shortlists than either vendor admits
If you take third party originations, BeSmartee has a product for it and Floify does not.
Beam TPO is a separate front end for brokers submitting into your shop. It went live with a Vesta connection in May 2026.
Floify’s answer is its broker edition. That is sold to the broker rather than to you, which is a different business.
Which one to pick
Take Floify if you are a broker or a small lender. It has a figure to anchor against and a free trial. It carries 57 reviews on G2 and 74 on Capterra. The broker edition is built for exactly that shop.
Take BeSmartee if you run wholesale, or if you lend commercially as well as residentially. Beam TPO and FlashSpread have no equivalent on the Floify side.
Ask Floify for a contractual uptime commitment and the twelve month incident log. Ask BeSmartee for the same history in writing, because no public record exists to check it against.
