Where it wins
- Experian's underlying credit and consumer data is a genuine advantage for early eligibility and affordability assessment.
- Filtering out unqualified applicants before they enter the funnel protects LO time and improves pull-through math.
- Vendor stability is not a question, which cannot be said of most of the smaller platforms here.
- Works as a layer in front of an existing POS rather than requiring replacement.
Where it falls short
- Not a point of sale. No 1003 intake, document collection, disclosure generation, or borrower portal.
- Buying it means adding another vendor and another integration to the stack.
- Limited independent review data specific to this product.
- Pricing not published, and enterprise data agreements with Experian carry their own negotiation overhead.
