Lodasoft review

In short

Lodasoft is a Mortgage Point of Sale product. MortgageTechReview scores Lodasoft 3.5 out of 5.0, ranking Lodasoft #10 of the 22 products tracked in Mortgage Point of Sale Software, as of August 11, 2026. Scores on MortgageTechReview are weighted across five axes and are never paid for or influenced by a vendor relationship.

The verdict

Mortgage task automation and point of sale software, built by mortgage veterans. It is built around workflow and guidance for everyone touching the file, not borrower self-service alone. Positioned closer to an operations layer than a borrower portal.

Where it wins

  • Task automation is the actual differentiator. It structures work for processors, LOs, and underwriters rather than only collecting documents from borrowers.
  • Built by people with origination backgrounds, and the workflow logic reflects that.
  • Established integration relationships, including the Optimal Blue partner network.
  • Fills a real gap for lenders whose bottleneck is internal handoffs rather than application abandonment.

Where it falls short

  • Weaker borrower-facing experience than Floify or Loanzify, which matters given the even weighting used here.
  • Small vendor with limited public presence, and almost no independent review data.
  • No published pricing.
  • Overlaps with functionality some lenders already have in their LOS, so the value case depends heavily on your existing stack.

Why it scores 3.5

Scored on the Point of Sale weight profile. The number shows where it sits in this category. It rests on evidence anyone can check, including the vendor's own record. The weights →

3.6

Production impact

35% of score

Automating stage-triggered tasks is one of the few point-of-sale moves that actually changes cycle time. It attacks the waiting between steps rather than borrower sentiment, and it structures work for processors, loan officers and underwriters instead of only collecting documents from borrowers. That is the right target for a lender whose bottleneck is internal handoffs. Lodasoft describes the engine clearly but publishes no throughput or cycle-time data, so the mechanism is sound and the evidence is not there.

4.1

Functionality and depth

15% of score

This is the strongest part of the product. The point of sale covers application intake, document collection, eSign and dedicated portals, and those portals reach past the borrower to agents and third-party originators. It is packaged separately for brokers and lenders, with a TPO edition, so each buyer type gets something shaped for it. CRM, lead management, email and SMS automation ride along. The borrower-facing experience is still weaker than Floify or Loanzify.

3

Integrations and ecosystem

20% of score

Public evidence is thin. A LoanPASS pricing engine integration appears in a dated announcement, and the site names nothing else despite an integrations link. For a system sold on automating handoffs, silence about the LOS connection is the biggest question. Press on it before signing.

3.3

Adoption and support

20% of score

Setup decides whether this platform earns its keep. Someone at the lender has to define the workflows before the automation does anything. There is little public buyer commentary on how much help the vendor gives during that phase. Absent evidence either way, the score sits at the middle.

3.9

Return on spend

10% of score

Configured properly, the return comes out of processing labour, which is where the money is in a mortgage shop. That is a bigger prize than the document-collection savings most point-of-sale tools chase. The risk is a half-configured deployment that ends up working as an ordinary point of sale at a point-of-sale-plus price. It also overlaps with workflow some lenders already own in their LOS, and no pricing is published.

On price. The pricing page compares features across the lender and broker editions, but dollar amounts are hidden. Every path ends at a demo request. Get configuration and implementation services quoted apart from the subscription, because here they are the larger variable.
