Certified Credit review
Certified Credit is a Income & Asset Verification product. MortgageTechReview scores Certified Credit 2.7 out of 5.0, ranking Certified Credit #25 of the 35 products tracked in Income & Asset Verification Software, as of August 11, 2026. Scores on MortgageTechReview are weighted across five axes and are never paid for or influenced by a vendor relationship.
Certified Credit sells tri-merge reporting plus a bundle called Cascade. Cascade covers borrower monitoring alerts, soft-pull prequalification, verification of employment and undisclosed debt monitoring. Around that sit AVMs, flood determinations, ADV-120 fraud reports, wire fraud protection and score improvement tooling. It is the standard reseller catalogue, assembled competently. The MeridianLink relationship decides it: a listed partner with a published credit union case study on that integration. Reach beyond that is unproven, because the site has no integrations page, so Encompass shops confirm the connection themselves.

Certified Credit wins 0 of 5 axes against Model Match, on the weight profile published for this category. Full head-to-head →
Where it wins
- Cascade bundles alerts, prequalification, VOE and undisclosed debt monitoring, not four contracts
- Listed MeridianLink partner with a published credit union case study on in-platform ordering
- CreditXpert names Certified Credit as an integrated credit reporting agency
- Appears on Floify's published integration partner list, covering the point of sale side
Where it falls short
- No integrations page and no published LOS list anywhere on the website
- Pricing is quote only, gated behind a demo request
- No ownership or parent disclosure, which slows vendor risk review at regulated buyers
- Fraud and valuation products stay at summary level, flood detail is no better
Why it scores 2.7
Scored on the Verification & Data weight profile. The number shows where it sits in this category. It rests on evidence anyone can check, including the vendor's own record. The weights →
Production impact
25% of scoreCascade Prequal screens with a soft pull before any hard inquiry. Cascade Alerts flags a borrower being shopped by a competitor. Cascade UDM catches new debt between application and closing. Those are the moments a lender most often loses a file it should have kept, so the value is real. It is also incremental. Every serious reseller sells an equivalent to each of the three, and none of them moves a pipeline alone.
Functionality and depth
20% of scoreBreadth is evidenced and depth is asserted. Tri-merge with custom formatting, business credit, employment and asset verification, identity, AVMs, flood determinations, ADV-120 fraud reports, wire fraud protection and score improvement tooling: enough to run the credit function on. But the fraud and valuation products stay at summary level and flood is no better. The public documentation never gets past the description, so what an underwriter receives is a demo question.
Integrations and ecosystem
20% of scoreMeridianLink is the confirmed path, with a partner listing and a published credit union case study on in-platform ordering. Floify lists Certified Credit among its partners, and CreditXpert names it an integrated agency. Three outside confirmations, which is more than the vendor publishes about itself: there is no integrations page and no LOS list on the site. For a company selling nationally the missing Encompass reference is conspicuous, and Encompass shops confirm their own route.
Adoption and support
10% of scoreUS-based support is the stated emphasis, and it matters on the escalations that hurt: a dispute or a rescore against a closing date. MeridianLink users order inside the LOS, so training needs are minimal. What is thin is the institutional record. No ownership or parent is disclosed, which slows vendor risk review at a regulated buyer, and the site is written for brokers and small lenders.
Return on spend
25% of scoreCredit, verification, flood, AVM and fraud through one reseller saves a smaller institution several small vendor relationships, and the Cascade bundle is priced as a package rather than four subscriptions. That is the whole argument. Pricing is quote only behind a demo request, so you cannot check it before the meeting. Against a national vendor at volume it will not win on unit price. What you are buying is the standard reseller catalogue, assembled competently, and on value it lands in the lower half of the category.
On price. Nothing is published, and every pricing question routes to a demo booking. Press for the Cascade components priced individually as well as bundled. Monitoring and undisclosed debt subscriptions are recurring per-loan costs. They behave very differently from a one-time credit pull when volume swings.
