LendingPad · LendingPad Corp Loan Origination Systems Reviewed lendingpad.com ↗
In short

LendingPad is a Loan Origination product from LendingPad Corp. MortgageTechReview scores LendingPad 4.4 out of 5.0, ranking LendingPad #3 of the 32 products tracked in Loan Origination Software, as of August 11, 2026. Scores on MortgageTechReview are weighted across five axes and are never paid for or influenced by a vendor relationship.

The verdict

Cloud-native LOS built by mortgage banking professionals, with separate editions for brokers, lenders, banks, and institutions. Known for real-time collaboration, including multi-user editing of the same file, and for costing a fraction of enterprise platforms. Endorsed by NAMB and AIME, and a 2019 HousingWire Tech100 winner. Ranks here on two things. The widest channel fit of any platform on this list, and the strongest independent review base among mortgage-native systems.

LendingPad wins 2 of 5 axes against Encompass, on the weight profile published for this category. Full head-to-head →

Where it wins

  • Strong price-to-capability ratio. Broker Edition runs near $59 per user per month, with Lender Edition on success-linked pricing around $100 to $200 per closed loan.
  • Real-time multi-user same-file editing genuinely changes how a processing team works, and no legacy platform here matches it.
  • Strongest review base of any mortgage-native LOS here. Around 134 Capterra reviews at roughly 87% positive sentiment. That is more verifiable evidence than the enterprise platforms above it show at product level.
  • Covers more of the market than anything else on this list. A broker, a correspondent, a small IMB and a bank can all run it. It stays viable as a shop grows, rather than forcing a migration at the next stage.
  • Editions actually differ rather than being pricing tiers. Brokers get broker workflow. Bankers get secondary, underwriting, funding and post-closing.
  • Absorbed significant share from Calyx during the URLA transition, and the customer testimony on that migration is unusually direct.

Where it falls short

  • Support quality does not scale evenly. Small shops praise it highly. One reviewer from a 2,300-LO organization reports unresolved issues, which suggests strain at enterprise size.
  • Limited core banking integration. It is built for non-depository lenders and brokers, not for institutions needing deep Fiserv or Jack Henry connectivity.
  • Reviewers note performance slowdowns during heavy usage and some features that are not customizable.
  • Missing some basic loan management functions, notably amortization and extra payment scenarios.

Why it scores 4.4

Scored on the Loan Origination Systems weight profile. The number shows where it sits in this category. It rests on evidence anyone can check, including the vendor's own record. The weights →

Production impact

25% of score

The wholesale marketplace is the operative feature. Brokers submit to lenders they already hold approvals with instead of retyping the file into separate portals. Processing centers get single sign-on into client files, which ends the credential juggling that slows contract processors. Real-time multi-user editing means a processor and a loan officer work the same file at once rather than waiting on each other. LendingPad publishes no volume figures, and reviewers note slowdowns during heavy usage.

4.2

Functionality and depth

20% of score

The editions actually differ rather than being price tiers. Brokers get broker workflow. Banked lenders get secondary marketing, underwriting, funding and post-closing. Processing companies get their own build. That is why a broker, a correspondent, a small IMB and a bank can all run it, and why a growing shop is not forced into a migration. Enterprise buyers wanting deep rules engines and per-branch workflow variation will find it lighter, and some basic loan management functions are missing.

4.3

Integrations and ecosystem

25% of score

Named coverage is unusually good for a vendor this size. United Wholesale Mortgage and Kind Lending appear on the wholesale side, plus the agencies for automated underwriting. Black Knight, CoreLogic, ComplianceEase, DocMagic, MeridianLink and Top of Mind cover the rest of the stack, and the partners marketplace and wholesale marketplace are maintained as products in their own right. Core banking is the hole. Institutions needing deep Fiserv or Jack Henry connectivity should look elsewhere.

4.7

Adoption and support

20% of score

Around 134 Capterra reviews at roughly 87 percent positive sentiment is the strongest review base of any mortgage-native system here. The interface is deliberately spare and onboarding is self-service rather than a multi-quarter implementation. LendingPad runs a certification program and publishes a guide of questions to put to LOS vendors, which is not the behavior of a company afraid of comparison. Support depth at enterprise scale stays the open question; a reviewer from a 2,300-LO shop reports unresolved issues.

4.7

Return on spend

10% of score

Broker Edition runs near $59 per user per month. Lender Edition uses success-linked pricing around $100 to $200 per closed loan, so the bill tracks closings rather than a fixed platform fee. Short implementation keeps real total cost close to license cost, which most systems in this category cannot say. Many brokers reach it through a wholesale lender relationship rather than a direct contract. Nothing is published, so the number still gets negotiated.

On price. Not published. No tier, no seat rate, no per-loan figure and no implementation estimate appears anywhere on the site. The only route to a number is a sales conversation.
