Floify wins 3 of 5 axes. Same rubric, same weights, no sponsorships.

Who owns the roadmap money

Floify is a Porch Group company, which its terms of use state plainly. Its homepage does not mention Porch at all. Porch bought Floify in October 2021 for $76.5 million cash plus $10 million in stock.

Floify sits in Porch’s Software and Data segment, which booked $20.8 million from external customers in Q2 2026. Porch does not break out Floify revenue. Maxwell is venture backed and independent, founded in 2015. Named investors include TTV Capital, Anthemis, Thomvest and Assurant.

Price, where one number is public and the other is not

Floify publishes no figure on its own site. Capterra lists a starting price of $79 per user per month. Capterra shows a free trial and no free version. G2 says Floify pricing is not listed by the vendor, and reports no free trial.

Those two directories disagree, so confirm the trial in writing. Maxwell publishes no price anywhere, including on G2. Ask both for cost per funded loan at your volume, the seat minimum, the implementation fee and the contract term.

LOS coverage, where the two lists diverge

Floify names Byte, MeridianLink Mortgage, Encompass, Vesta, LendingPad and focusIT. Calyx Point and Dark Matter Empower are absent. Maxwell names Encompass, MeridianLink, Finastra and Byte, then invites buyers to ask about others.

Floify covers LendingPad and Vesta, and Maxwell does not name either. Maxwell covers Finastra, and Floify does not name it. Brokers running LendingPad have one obvious answer in this pair. Bank shops on Finastra have the opposite one.

Uptime, where the evidence is uncomfortable on both sides

Floify publishes 99.99 percent uptime over 90 days for its core system. It breaks out LOS integrations by name on that page. A third party monitor has logged more than 573 outage events since 2 March 2022.

Recent entries include 7 hours 48 minutes of warning on 13 July 2026. Maxwell publishes 99.875 percent over 60 days on Maxwell Legacy. It publishes 100 percent on its NextGen lender and borrower hubs. Both windows are short, and both figures are self reported.

What Maxwell sells that Floify does not

Maxwell sells outsourced processing, underwriting and closing alongside its point of sale. It also sells loan diligence and private label origination. That matters when volume swings and headcount cannot follow. Floify sells a broker edition and a lender edition, and stays there.

Claims with no method, including one Maxwell contradicts

Maxwell’s point of sale page states 44 percent higher pull-through and 20 percent faster lock to clear-to-close. That page states 9 percent more loans closed per loan officer. The homepage states 13 percent for the same measure. Two of its own pages disagree.

Floify states loans reach clear to close 7.5 days faster. It states 84 percent higher broker efficiency and 97.6 percent customer satisfaction in 2023. No sample, period or baseline appears for any of these. Every one is vendor stated and unverified.

Contract terms, which nobody reads until renewal

Floify’s terms of use carry no uptime or service level commitment. Service is provided as is. Floify reserves the right to modify, restrict or discontinue access with or without notice. The document sets no term, no renewal rule and no customer termination right.

Those terms live in an order form buyers do not see until late. Ask for the master service agreement and the service level exhibit before the demo ends. Ask Maxwell for the same two documents.

Which one to pick

A broker shop or small lender that needs a budgetable per seat price should shortlist Floify. A published $79 starting point beats a blank quote form. A lender that wants point of sale plus outsourced fulfillment on one contract should shortlist Maxwell. Maxwell also reports 400 plus lending institutions and $230 billion in funded loans.

Ask Floify why a monitor logged more than 573 outage events while its page shows 99.99 percent. Ask Maxwell which per loan officer figure is correct, 9 percent or 13 percent, and show the sample.
