LoanLogics review
LoanLogics is a Mortgage Compliance & QC product from Sun Capital Partners affiliate (July 2021). MortgageTechReview scores LoanLogics 4.5 out of 5.0, ranking LoanLogics #4 of the 25 products tracked in Mortgage Compliance & QC Software, as of August 11, 2026. Scores on MortgageTechReview are weighted across five axes and are never paid for or influenced by a vendor relationship.
LoanLogics attacks loan quality from the document layer, not the questionnaire layer, and that separates it from conventional QC platforms. IDEA classifies and extracts data from loan documents, and CARBN handles classification and data validation. LoanBeam calculates income, including the self-employed cases that cause most defects. LoanHD then runs rules-based pre-closing, post-closing, pre-funding, HMDA and TRID workflows on the extracted data. The deciding question is whether your QC bottleneck is people reading documents, because that is the constraint this removes. Confirm ownership directly; the last public transaction is the July 2021 acquisition by a Sun Capital affiliate.

LoanLogics wins 0 of 5 axes against ACES Quality Management, on the weight profile published for this category. Full head-to-head →
Where it wins
- IDEA and CARBN extraction feeds audit rules, so review starts from validated data
- LoanBeam handles self-employed and variable income, a top post-close defect source
- LoanHD runs pre-closing, post-closing, pre-funding, HMDA and TRID in one exception-driven system
- SitusAMC and LauraMac both list LoanLogics, two-sided proof of connectivity
Where it falls short
- Ownership unverified past the 2021 Sun Capital deal; the site names no parent
- Four separately branded products make scoping and pricing harder, training too
- No named LOS connector list; the site points to an API portal instead
- Extraction accuracy varies by document type, so test against your own file mix
Why it scores 4.5
Scored on the Compliance & QC weight profile. The number shows where it sits in this category. It rests on evidence anyone can check, including the vendor's own record. The weights →
Production impact
20% of scoreMost QC labour is not answering audit questions. It is finding the answer inside a document. IDEA and CARBN classify and extract before the rules ever run, so auditors start from validated data and touch flagged exceptions instead of whole files. LoanBeam compounds it by calculating self-employed and variable income, the slowest work in the file and a leading source of post-close findings. Few compliance products remove that much labour from the process.
Functionality and depth
35% of scoreLoanHD alone runs pre-closing, post-closing, pre-funding, HMDA and TRID in one exception-driven workflow, with LoanFacts dashboards for reporting and an ARC Portal for defect resolution. That closes the remediation loop most competitors leave open. Around it sit IDEA for extraction and validation, CARBN for classification and LoanBeam for income, which also sells into underwriting. Very little is missing. Be precise about which of the four components you are licensing.
Integrations and ecosystem
20% of scoreThe evidence comes from the other side of each connection, which is worth more than a vendor’s own logo wall. SitusAMC lists LoanLogics among the platforms ComplianceEase integrates with. LauraMac carries LoanLogics in its partner marketplace. Connectivity into compliance testing and capital markets review is corroborated twice over. LoanLogics itself publishes an API developer portal rather than a named LOS connector list, which is fine with integration resource and a problem without.
Adoption and support
10% of scoreSitusAMC and LauraMac both list LoanLogics, so that connectivity is confirmed from both sides rather than asserted by the vendor alone. Sun Capital ownership since 2021 has coincided with continued product releases, a reasonable signal on investment. The load on your side is spread wide: QC auditors, underwriters using income calculation, correspondents working defects, plus separate implementation tracks for extraction and audit workflow. Broad user bases adopt unevenly, so stage the rollout.
Return on spend
15% of scoreValue tracks document volume more than loan count, so a lender with thick files and heavy income documentation gets far more back than one with clean salaried borrowers. The strongest version of the case is LoanBeam displacing manual income hours in underwriting as well as QC, the same license paying twice. Against that, four separately branded components make scoping harder and the total number easy to underestimate.
On price. Quote only, with nothing published for any component. Price each product separately rather than accepting a bundle. Insist on an extraction accuracy benchmark against a sample of your own documents before signing. The return on spend depends entirely on the automation rate you actually achieve.
