MOZAIQ wins 3 of 5 axes. Same rubric, same weights, no sponsorships.
Where each product sits in the loan file
Prudent AI works before submission. It classifies documents, flags missing items and calculates qualified income at intake. Mozaiq works after submission. Its Loan Assist agents run loan setup, appraisal review, underwrite assist, closing, post close review and investor delivery. The two products touch the same file at different hours. A lender could run both without much overlap. Settle that distinction early in any bake off.
What Prudent AI decides for you
Prudent AI concentrates on income, and on the income files that cause rework. Bank statement borrowers, self employed borrowers and rental income are the core cases. Published modules include Upfront Income, Upfront Index and Upfront AUS. The company added a Fannie Mae Income Calculator integration in October 2025. Automated rental income analysis followed in March 2026. Newfi embedded the engine inside its broker portal in June 2026. HousingWire reported turn times there dropping from about 72 hours to as little as three.
Prudent AI also lists a self serve broker portal and a scenario desk workflow. That places the product in front of the loan, not behind it.
What Mozaiq takes off the fulfillment desk
Mozaiq sells fulfillment labor reduction to enterprise lenders. Its published stage list runs from document indexing to investor delivery. An Automation Anywhere customer story on The Loan Store names the processes automated. Those include initial disclosures, lock confirmations, file setup conditions, indexing, flood and fraud ordering and aggregator delivery. Microsoft documents Mozaiq building extraction models on Azure AI Document Intelligence. Mozaiq also describes human exception handling sitting behind the agents. Treat it as software plus a service layer, not pure software.
Mozaiq escalates to a processor or underwriter at lender defined exception thresholds. Setting those thresholds is where the real configuration work sits.
The published numbers and what backs them
Mozaiq publishes a cost per loan move at The Loan Store from $3,600 to $2,200 inside twelve months. The Automation Anywhere page for the same account lists straight through processing above 80 percent. Those are single customer figures with no sampling method attached. Site wide claims such as 70 percent faster clear to close are vendor stated and unverified. Prudent AI publishes 99 percent accurate processing and a 60 to 70 percent cut in document review time. No method sits behind either figure. Ask both for the denominator and the sample.
Neither vendor publishes an error rate by document type. Neither publishes a false positive rate on flagged conditions. Those two numbers decide whether an operations team trusts the output.
Integrations that are named and the ones that are missing
Prudent AI names Encompass, MeridianLink, BeSmartee, Vesta, LON, Plaid and Clear Capital on its site. That level of specificity is unusual in this category. Mozaiq publishes no integrations page and names no LOS in product copy. A customer quote references Encompass sitting underneath the platform. Nothing on the site addresses Empower, Blend or Mortgage Cadence. Ask Mozaiq for a written integration inventory before contracting.
Ownership, funding and the disclosure gap
Mozaiq is a private company with offices in Tucson and Gurugram. Crunchbase lists 101 to 250 staff and no disclosed funding round. Vivek Shivpuri is founder and chief executive. Prudent AI trades as Vyakya Technologies Private Limited. Crunchbase places it in Chennai with 11 to 50 staff and no public round. Neither vendor carries a G2 or Capterra profile with a star rating and review count. Buyers will not find third party review volume to lean on.
Mozaiq has announced no funding round, acquisition or layoff through August 2026. Prudent AI announced a revenue leadership hire in April 2026.
Which one to pick
Pick Prudent AI if non-QM and bank statement income drive your rework. Wholesale and TPO shops gain most when income answers land inside the broker portal. Pick Mozaiq if fulfillment headcount on agency volume is the cost problem. High volume operations with heavy setup, delivery and post close work fit that shape. Neither publishes a price, so request a per loan quote with volume tiers and a floor. Ask Prudent AI for the sample and denominator behind the 99 percent accuracy claim. Ask Mozaiq which processes were in scope at The Loan Store when cost per loan reached $2,200.
