MonitorBase wins 2 of 5 axes. Same rubric, same weights, no sponsorships.
One works your database, the other works your website
MonitorBase watches people a lender already has records for. BankingBridge works on strangers who land on the lender website. The two never touch the same person at the same moment. That single difference decides which budget signs the invoice.
Which budget line each comes out of
MonitorBase is a data subscription against the retention and marketing budget. Cost scales with the size of the monitored database. BankingBridge is a website tooling subscription against the digital marketing budget. Cost scales with plan tier and captured volume. A lender can run both without overlap. Neither replaces the other. The overlap between the two products is close to zero.
MonitorBase in its own words
MonitorBase calls itself a borrower retention system for mortgage lenders and banks. It mines opportunities from a contact database. Alert families cover predictive scenarios, inquiries, credit migration and property listings. Predictive scenarios include home buyer, home seller, cash-out refinance and MI removal. Credit migration covers score, bankruptcy, payment history and unscorable movement. The company points to a data partnership with Experian spanning more than fifteen years. It has operated since 2007. The integration list names Total Expert, Surefire, Insellerate, BNTouch, Usherpa, Big Purple Dot and Bonzo. Origination connections named are Calyx, Byte, LendingPad and Take3. Encompass does not appear. Salesforce and HubSpot are reached through Zapier.
BankingBridge in its own words
BankingBridge says it converts more mortgage prospects into closed loans. The named tools are a rate table, loan officer pages and customer rate dashboards. There is an eight question lead workflow for qualification. Calculators, rate alert emails and an AI SMS chat that quotes rates also appear. A feature called Dream Rate watches for a borrower target rate and triggers outreach. Pricing engines named include Optimal Blue, Mortech, Polly, Lender Price, Loansifter and EPPS. Plans include unlimited loan officer accounts at every tier. Whitelisted domains run from two on the entry plan to unlimited higher up. Rate alert email allowances scale from 50 unique addresses to 1,500. A Jornaya connection and Zapier developer access are also listed.
One publishes a price card and one does not
BankingBridge publishes tiers. Four plans run from $349 a month to $999 a month, plus charges on captured volume. Setup fees run from $950 to $3,500. An AI add-on is listed at $299 a month with two million tokens. A RateFlow API line is listed at $750 a month. MonitorBase publishes nothing. Its site says pricing is customised for every mortgage professional. SMS features are listed between $100 and $159 a month. There is also a $50 a month add-on covering outside vendor fees. Buyers should still ask what a lead unit costs above the allowance.
Different ownership stories
Mobility Market Intelligence acquired MonitorBase on 13 February 2025 without disclosed terms. MMI also owns Bonzo, bought on 2 August 2023. That makes MonitorBase part of a larger data and CRM group. BankingBridge publishes no ownership, funding or investor detail on its site. A buyer wanting that information has to ask in the sales call. MMI markets data, monitoring and CRM as a single lead to loan bundle.
Claims that carry no method
BankingBridge states three times revenue against sites without it. It also states 250,000 mortgage prospects handled and more than 100 mortgage company customers. A figure of 98 percent of customers reporting revenue increases appears as well. None of these carry a published method or sample. MonitorBase publishes no headline conversion figure at all. Treat both positions as vendor stated and unverified.
Which one to pick
A lender with tens of thousands of past customers and thin web traffic should start with MonitorBase. The return shows up as recapture rate and cost per funded loan. A lender with heavy paid traffic and a weak site experience should start with BankingBridge. The return shows up as contact rate on inbound visits. Ask MonitorBase for cost per monitored record and the minimum database size. Ask BankingBridge which pricing engine feeds the rate table and how compliance review is handled.
