Insellerate wins 2 of 5 axes. Same rubric, same weights, no sponsorships.

Where each one starts on day one

Insellerate arrives shaped like a lending operation. Lead routing, dialer, and campaign logic are already wired for loan officers. Salesforce Sales Cloud arrives as an empty frame. A mortgage shop supplies the loan stages, the compliance rules, and the borrower objects. That build work is the whole difference in this matchup.

Speed to lead, which decides this one for consumer direct

Insellerate says it captured 94.2 million new leads over 36 months. It also claims 543.7 million webhooks processed in that window. Those figures are vendor stated and unverified. What matters at the desk is dial time after a lead lands. Insellerate ships scoring, routing, and dialing as one motion. Salesforce needs a dialer from AppExchange plus routing rules an admin writes. Both can reach the same contact rate. One of them takes months longer to get there.

Aithena’s numbers and where they come from

Insellerate’s AI layer is called Aithena. At a HousingWire demo day in February 2026, Insellerate claimed 89.4% accuracy predicting closable deals from the opening call. It also claimed a 38% lift in worked opportunities within seven days. A 9X return within 90 days was claimed at the same event. No sample size, control group, or method was published. Treat all three as vendor stated and unverified. Ask for the loan count behind the 89.4% figure before it enters a business case.

What Insellerate will not tell you before a demo

Insellerate publishes no price. Its pricing URL returns a 404 as of 19 August 2026. Capterra lists the starting price as contact vendor, with no free trial. G2 states the vendor has not listed pricing there. Insellerate has stayed founder held since 2012 under CEO Josh Friend. No investor, funding round, or layoff disclosure appears on its site. Ask for a written quote with per seat cost, minimum seats, and term length. Ask separately for implementation fee, data migration cost, and telephony or messaging rates. Get the renewal uplift cap in writing too.

The Salesforce bill that follows the Salesforce price list

Salesforce publishes $25 to $550 per user per month on its sales pricing page. Financial Services Cloud starts at $325 per user per month for sales. Agentforce and Data Cloud are sold on top of those tiers. Then comes the build. Ascendix puts implementation at $10,000 for basic work and over $200,000 for complex projects. It cites senior consultants in the United States at $150 to $250 hourly. ICE sells an Encompass Connector for Salesforce from $5 per loan per month, plus a setup fee. ZipRecruiter puts the average Salesforce administrator salary at $98,862. That admin is not optional.

Integrations, and the gaps on both sides

Insellerate names MeridianLink Mortgage, Loanzify POS from LenderHomePage, and Lender Price APR for pricing. Its own integrations page returns a 404, so buyers get no public directory to check. Encompass does not appear by name on its published pages. Salesforce has the opposite problem. AppExchange carries connectors for most lending systems, but each one is a separate contract. Ask Insellerate for a written list of live LOS connections and named reference lenders.

Review volume that is not comparable

Insellerate holds 4.6 out of 5 on G2 from 25 reviews. Capterra shows 5.0 from three reviews. Salesforce Sales Cloud holds 4.4 on G2 from 25,877 reviews and 8.8 on TrustRadius from 3,471. The Salesforce sample is broad but mostly non mortgage. The Insellerate sample is too small to carry weight. Reference calls with lenders of similar size will tell you more than either score.

Which one to pick

A consumer direct lender running dialers and recapture should shortlist Insellerate. The mortgage logic is already built, and pull-through gets measured sooner. A bank or credit union already running Salesforce should extend Sales Cloud instead. The admin, the data model, and the license spend already exist.

Ask Insellerate for total year one cost, including implementation, migration, and messaging. Ask which Encompass fields sync both ways today. Ask Salesforce for a mortgage reference at your loan volume. Ask what that lender paid a partner to reach go live.
