BNTouch wins 2 of 5 axes. Same rubric, same weights, no sponsorships.

One is shaped for loan officers, one is shaped for anything

BNTouch ships mortgage workflows out of the box. Salesforce Sales Cloud ships a platform you configure. That gap sets your project timeline more than any feature list does. BNTouch calls itself an all in one mortgage CRM with native LOS sync. Salesforce calls Sales Cloud an agentic platform for sales.

Neither description is wrong. The question is who builds loan stages, milestone triggers and rate alerts. BNTouch ships those already shaped for origination. On Salesforce, somebody builds them or buys a mortgage app that has. Time to first campaign is the number to compare.

The sticker gap is narrower than it looks

Salesforce publishes Starter Suite at $25 per user per month. Pro Suite is $100, Enterprise is $175 and Unlimited is $350, each billed annually. Agentforce 1 Sales is $550. BNTouch publishes $165 per month for Individual and $95 per user for Team. Starter Suite is the only edition Salesforce lists as billable monthly or annually.

The low end flatters Salesforce. Salesforce states AI can be added to Enterprise and above. Data Cloud is also sold only against Enterprise and Unlimited. So $175 is the realistic entry point, and that is above BNTouch Individual before any mortgage layer exists.

What the mortgage layer costs on top

Salesforce publishes Financial Services Cloud pricing separately. The Sales edition runs $325 per user per month, and Sales and Service runs $350. Digital Origination is $175,000 per org per year, including 25,000 applications. Extra applications run $6,000 per thousand.

Those are org level commitments, not seat decisions. A twenty seat branch will not clear that hurdle. Salesforce publishes no mortgage specific Sales Cloud edition at all. Jungo, a mortgage layer built on Salesforce, publishes no figure on its product page either. Ask Salesforce which SKU your use case actually requires.

Support and admin cost, the part that surprises people

Salesforce includes the Standard Success Plan with every license. Premier costs 30 percent of net license fees. On a fifty seat Enterprise deployment that is a second real line item. Signature pricing is quote only through an account executive. Premier is a percentage, so it scales with every seat you add.

BNTouch charges activation instead. Individual activation is $125, and Team activation is $95 per user. BNTouch says that fee covers LOS integration, contact import, campaigns and training. Its White Glove managed onboarding tier publishes no price at all, so ask for that figure early.

Where the loan data has to live

BNTouch names Encompass, Calyx, BytePro and LendingPad as native syncs on its marketing pages. Its own integrations page names only LendingPad. That inconsistency deserves a direct question. Salesforce names no LOS connector on its Sales Cloud pages.

On Salesforce, LOS sync becomes an integration project. Budget for middleware or a systems integrator. BNTouch bundles a narrower set of connections into the subscription instead. The trade is fewer options against far less build work. Neither approach is free. One cost is visible and one is not.

Ratings, at wildly different sample sizes

Salesforce Sales Cloud shows 4.4 from 25,877 reviews on G2. BNTouch shows 4.5 from 68 on G2 and 4.5 from 98 on Capterra. The Salesforce sample spans every industry. Almost none of it comes from mortgage. Filter G2 by industry before drawing any conclusion from that average.

Salesforce claims Sales Cloud drives 30 percent more revenue. No method is published beside that claim. Treat it as vendor stated and unverified. BNTouch claims users closed $43.7 billion in loans over two years, also with no method attached.

Which one to pick

A branch or independent mortgage bank under fifty seats should shortlist BNTouch. Mortgage stages, activation scope and per seat cost are all published up front. An enterprise lender already running Salesforce elsewhere should shortlist Sales Cloud. Consolidating beats running a second system, provided admin capacity exists.

Ask Salesforce one question: what is total first year cost including Premier and LOS integration work? Ask BNTouch one question: which LOS syncs run in production today, by name? Get both answers in writing before renewal terms are set.
